In addition to clinic services, Student Health Services provides health education and promotion to the TSU community. We begin each year co-hosting TSU’s Annual Health & Wellness Fair with TSU’s Recreation & Wellness Services. The Health & Wellness Fair takes place every third Wednesday in September. We invite vendors from the community to help us keep TSyou healthy.

At the Health & Wellness Fair participants receive free blood pressure and vision screenings, HIV testing, exercise demonstrations, information about healthy eating and much more.

We continue the year with a variety of health awareness campaigns, including blood drives and bone marrow registration drives and free HIV testing, for the students, faculty, staff and the surrounding community. Free HIV testing is offered every Wednesday, during the fall and spring semesters.

We encourage you to call or come by Health Services to be informed, enlightened and introduced to keys for achieving and maintaining optimal health that will last a lifetime. To speak to someone about our services, call (713) 313-7173.
