The TRiO Talent Search program identifies and assists middle school and high school students from disadvantaged backgrounds, who have an interest and the potential to succeed at a post-secondary program. The TRiO Talent Search program works specifically with students in (7) high schools and (2) middle schools.
TRiO Talent Search provides college readiness services including academic and personal counseling, career exploration, college tours, cultural activities, assistance to prepare for college entrance, apply for admissions and financial aid. To learn more, please click on the links below.
TRIO Student Support Services Mission
Trio Student Support Services Program provides academic support and non-cognitive assistance designed to increase low income, first generation college student’s retention and graduation rate of from a post-secondary program of study.
Trio Student Support Services assist eligible students to:
- Complete the FAFSA and financial aid processes
- Identify university/community resources
- Engage in tutorial services designed to maintain good academic standing
- Engage in non-cognitive, cultural and exposure to activities which fosters students’ success.
